We are a growing company operating thriving concepts including, Panera Bread, Noodles & Company, Applebee’s, Quaker Steak and Lube, Chevy’s, and The Shannon Rose Irish Pub! We have successful grown to over 140+ restaurants across NY, NJ, Georgia & Florida!

Executive Chef-Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Executive Chef is responsible for the operation of the kitchen in the restaurant, including leading and directing the work of the salaried chef team and back of the house staff in the day to day operations of the business.

Responsibilities include-*Achieving Goals for Sales, Cost Control and Profitability *Upholding Food Safety, Sanitation and Quality Standards *Hiring, Training, and Developing Hospitality focused staff*Complying with all Company Standards, Procedures and Policies including Federal, State and Local Laws*Limiting Turnover cost by creating a positive and rewarding work environment*Leadership of Restaurant Operations *Food Production, Inventory, Labor, Scheduling *Managing Performance of staff to drive efficient execution of all kitchen operations*Support all Culinary programs *Enforce standards for recipe adherence, food preparation, production and presentation*Ensure through training and communication of all Company initiatives*Going Above & Beyond to accommodate Guest’s requests and encourage the same from the kitchen staff

What we look for….*3 to 5 years high volume, upscale Executive Chef Experience*High School education or equivalent*Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays*Proven experience creating a safe work environment that incorporates teamwork *Experience executing quality dishes to ensure a positive dining experience for our Guests*Working knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices, point of sale and computer systems*Serve Safe and Nassau County Food Handler certification preferred*Successfully controlling costs associated with running a profitable business such as food, labor, beverage*Proven track record in driving sales and Guest traffic*Ability to perform basic math calculations and understanding fundamental accounting principles*Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
