24WCG IN BANGLADESH

• The first WCG took off in the year 2004, which was organized by F1 event management.• Consecutively, they were held in 2005, 2006 and

2007 following a 4 year gap when management changed to _xKGaming_ for the year 2012.• WCG however, hasn’t been held since then due

to WCG international committee’s decision on not to hold this event anymore.

29FUTURE OF THE COMMUNITY

• A bit shaken due to decreased number of Sponsors.• End of WCG has decreased the holding of big

tournaments.• Gaming clans are becoming extinct as

competitive PC gaming is losing it’s edge compared to other platforms.• New hope emerges as new games such as

‘League of Legends’ and ‘DotA 2’ are becoming popular.• Newer players should form teams within

themselves and improve together.
