COW FLATULENCE Ireland and Denmark clearly have “beef” with pollution, placing a tax on cows based on their high levels of methane production. BABY NAMES In Sweden, if a child’s name isn’t approved by the Swedish Tax Agency, the parents face a penalty. Rejected names include Ikea, Superman and Elvis. CEREAL BOX BREAK Cereal companies in Canada get a tax break for including a toy in their boxes (as long as the toy isn’t beer, liquor or wine, of course).
