Executive SummaryThunderbird School of Global Management has a deep relationship with and understanding of global companies in the oil and gas industry. Since the early 1990s, Thunderbird has partnered with dozens of companies in the industry through a variety of corporate custom executive development programs and the School’s flagship industry program, the Advanced Management Program for Oil & Gas Industry Executives.

Due to constant geopolitical, cultural, and organizational complexities, the global oil and gas industry is an industry that is tailor-made for Thunderbird’s mission to educate global leaders who create sustainable prosperity worldwide. Additionally, energy businesses around the world are facing a critical shortage of the talented employees necessary to create and sustain competitive advantage over rival firms.

To address the needs of global oil and gas companies seeking to educate their globally disbursed workforce, Thunderbird Online developed a series of 12 online modules that provide a comprehensive overview of the industry from a business, rather than technical, perspective. Upon completion of the 12 modules, participants will earn the Thunderbird Certificate in Global Oil & Gas Management.
