TIME MANAGEMENT AND PREPARATIONAdi Mohamed

IMPORTANCE OF TIME MANAGEMENTTime management is a very important skill and attribute that our production team need to have in order to put forward the most professional and high standard work. It allows us to avoid not meeting deadlines simply by us knowing what needs to be done in order for us to move forward.

Our Goals are to: Ensure all our planning is done effectively and will help us with the production Set goals and objectives that we must adhere to Meeting all necessary deadlines Spending efficient time on each activity ensuring we reach the highest level possible

PRODUCTION SCHEDULE The Production Schedule was made in order for our group to plan out how we are going divide all the roles and planning/research within our production.

It helps us with staying on top of our work and being well organised in order for us to complete everything on time.

We evenly assigned different assignments to each member of the group and made sure everyone had sufficient work that will actually add towards our final production.

BRAINSTORMIn terms of choosing the right idea, which we all have a passion and believe in we made a brainstorm that everyone in our group can contribute towards to. This helps us develop and plan out ideas as well as ensure everyone gets a chance to put forward what they believe we should do.

Brainstorms are very good in terms of coming up will all the technical aspects of our production, such as the mise-en-scene, actors, location and character development.

As a result this task will play a key role in coming up with the idea best suited to our interests as a group.

EXTRA HOURSAs the editor for our production, I already know the extra hours that is needed throughout the editing process. I will ensure that when our final production is complete, I stay in after school and during break or lunch times in order for me to complete the editing to a much higher and technical standard.

I know that the extra hours added in during the editing process will ensure that our overall continuity of the short film will be very smooth and professional.

In terms of directing the production, our director will put in extra hours to ensure that she visits the locations a few times and make sure we have permission to film where we have to film. As well as this she will also ensure that she takes extra care in handling the best possible times that we can go out and shoot with the least problems arising.
