MARKET WRAP

The Sensex ended down 329.55 points or 1.3 percent at 24287.42, and the Nifty was

down 101.85 points or 1.4 percent at 7387.25. About 1186 shares have advanced,

1477 shares declined, and 136 shares are unchanged.

Bharti Airtel, SBI, Axis Bank, Lupin and Tata Steel were top gainers while Tata

Motors, ONGC, ITC, Sun Pharma and TCS were losers in the Sensex.

Divis Laboratories Slumps 5% on Q3 Earnings

Divis Laboratories shares fell as much as 5 per cent to Rs 1,058.25 on Monday after

the pharma major reported lower-than-estimated earnings for the October-

December quarter.

Divis Lab reported a net profit of Rs 247 crore on net sales of Rs 853 crore in its third

quarter ending December 2015. Its net profit was 10 per cent lower than the Street's

estimates while its revenue was 9 per cent below the consensus estimates,

brokerage Religare said in a note to clients.

The company had reported a net profit of Rs 221 crore on sales of Rs 788 crore in

the year-ago

quarter.

Inox Wind's Q3 net up 2.41% at Rs 103 crore

Wind energy solutions provider Inox Wind today reported a 2.41 per cent rise in

consolidated net profit at Rs 103 crore for the December quarter.

The company's net profit in the corresponding quarter of the previous year stood at

Rs 100.57 crore, Inox Wind Ltd said in a regulatory filing.

The company's net profit during the April-December period rose to Rs 242.63 crore

from Rs 178.54 crore in the year-ago period, it said.

Total income from operations also increased to Rs 941.44 crore during the third

quarter from Rs 932.39 crore in the same period a year ago.
