• You are your brand. Behind this brand which is you people are more interested in knowing you as a person on Twitter. The end goal on Twitter is to increase customers’ loyalty to your brand. They have to know, like and trust you to win them.


Here are the 5 Most Important Things Entrepreneurs should be Tweeting about:

#1: Sharing knowledge

• When you do find information that would solve someone’s problem share it on Twitter. This information can be within your industry e.g. if you are in the health business you can share knowledge within the health industry which will add value to your followers. If you have read a book, share the valuable tips of what you learnt.


• You can also share other knowledge not only in the business world. It can be inspirational quotes, entertainment, news, leadership, and your mentors in life and so on. If you find an article online you can share it by giving reasons why you like it or disagree with it.


#2: Retweet

• Retweet information that you find useful. Anytime someone retweets your information, appreciate them by sending them a thank you note. Thank them sincerely.


• Spend time doing this as the person retweeting your information is the one who took the time to read your message and spread it. They have indirectly done free advertising for you by spreading your message and they deserve the credit for that.


#3: Display Your Expertise

• Share your knowledge by answering questions on Twitter. Answering questions on Twitter means going out of your way and getting answers for your audience. This sometimes requires you to do some research and coming back with answers.


• This will enhance your reputation within your industry. You will get rewarded for this. Anytime you do promote your product to your followers they are more likely to come back to you with a positive response.


#4: Your service

• Do you have a product or service which you believe is valuable and would be of great use to your audience?. You can send tweets on how your product or service can solve a problem or offer solutions for someone.


• Tweet about the free gifts such as eBooks, video tutorials which you are giving away on your site. This is a service or product which will be useful to your followers.


#5: Conversations on Twitter

• Make an effort to contribute on Twitter Conversations. You can also start your own conversations.


• The most important thing to do to guarantee success on Twitter is to monitor your success.


• You must monitor your return on investment (ROI). Monitor your retweets and check how much traffic is coming to your site. With monitoring you would know what is working so that you can do more of that.
