Audience Research
• The audience research that I done was to find out more about my audience,

• Where do they live ?
• What are their interests ?
• How do they access media ?
• I used different methods such as questionnaires, Vox pops and focus groups.

Market Research• Market research is research in to your competitors.
• Who are your competitors and what do they do to market products?
• What existing products to they have?
• Where could you place your product to make sure you beat your competitors.
Market research- Existing products
These are a range of different social messaging campaigns which I looked at for competitor analysis to find out more about other advertisements and their conventions. This would then allow me to produce a similar standard or even better advert than my competitors.
Celebrity endorsement
Self perception, Emotional responses
Common Conventions
• Emotional responses or association e.g. solution to a problem, fear, compassion, self perception, social position.
• Tells you about the product/message. (often at the end)
• Logo
• Slogan/Catchy phrase
• Music
• Young actors similar to the target audiences age.

When planning my advertisement I come up with 3 initial ideas and choose one to become the final product.
Idea 2: Facebook Police
Idea 1: Password stealer
Idea 3: Getting rid of bullies
Overall Idea
The final idea that I decided on was the ‘Password stealer’ idea.
The main aspects of this advert.• Young teenager creating password for his online
bank account.• Young teenager creates a strong password due
to visiting the stay safe stay connected website.• Password hacker tries to break into the online
bank account but cant due to the password being so strong.
• Overall idea is to show the importance of having a strong password as this will stop any of your online accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, banking etc. from being hacked
Location Research
Costumes
Production research
Research on equipment needed to create my advertisement and the potential cost of this equipment.
I also researched into local actors that I could hire for the advertisement and the cost that they would work for.
I found these 2 actors that were very suitable for each of the roles played in my advertisement.
Thank you for watching
