Well this is White

Island and she erupted

in 2011.

The island is a circle shape and it is 321 m (1,053 ft) above sea level. It is a submarine mountain.

A little bit about White Island.

It is New Zealand's only active marine volcano and perhaps the most accessible on earth, and it brings scientist and

volcanologist as well as many tourist's.

Sulphur mining was attempted but was a abandon in 1914 after a lahar killed all 10 workers.

The Maori name is Whakaari.

Well she is 100,000 and 200'000 years old.

Walking on White Island it looks like the moon.

Whakaari's eruptions have produced lava flows explosive eruptions of ash.
