OK, I signed up for this class to expand my horizons. I’ve avoided stores for years, but I’ll give it a try!

What did I learn from this experience?

High-end stores have:

Very attentive sales people – little opportunity for taking photos!

Clean, organized display spaces

Refreshments (WILLIAMS SONOMA)

Comfortable seating (COACH)

Expensive merchandise

Lower-end stores have:

• Better prices, but

Cavernous spaces, harsh lighting(JOANN)

Overcrowded and unsafe displays –Would you want to be here in an EARTHQUAKE?(BED,BATH and BEYOND)

Poorly organized and maintained merchandise(ROSS)
