Problem statement

The policies are sweeping and can become suffocating: That means, if there are a bunch of fresh graduates from college behaving unprofessionally, and the HR wants to discipline them, every one of 100K people have to follow the new rules. You have to be in campus for some minimum number of hours, there might be some dress code, and the reporting routines can be stressing.

Good work gets rewarded, but only within the rules: making exceptions is rare. If the policy mandates that the best performers will get 10% hike, you'll not get a 20% salary hike, not matter how good you are performing, or if you started at a very low pay and later became a rock star. Some of that gets addressed at senior levels, once your work profits the company noticeably.

Back pain, body ache, spondylitis due to incorrect sitting postures.

Weak eyes due to continuously working on machines. Might need to attend office on weekends to support production

moves, handle high priority issues. At times you might need to do might shifts to share time with

your clients. Generally these Indian companies have US and Europe as their

client. As a result you might need to work on Indian festivals.

Wipro Limited employees’ strike enters 70th day

Over 300 employees including permanent and contract workers of Wipro Limited (Lighting Division) at Hootagalli, which started production in 1999 to manufacture and market lighting products, have launched an indefinite strike on October 27.
