Why Global Warming?
Global Warming is caused by increased emission of greenhouse gases (mainly carbon dioxide) into the atmosphere.
It has been proved that this increased emission is predominantly caused by human activities.

while not in use. Unplug them too.
Set the thermostat a few degrees lower in winter and wear a sweater.

Always try to eat low on the food chain. Don’t drink bottled water. Instead use a

bottles and preferably your own coffee mugs too. You can avoid plastic bottles/paper cups wastage.

etc. While helping the local economy, you also help in reducing carbon emissions which occur while transporting food from far off places.
Reduce the amount of new things you buy. (Manufacturing, marketing, disposal processes involve energy usage and carbon emissions)
Reuse things which you already have. Borrow things which you would need only
occasionally. If you do not need something, pass on to
somebody in need so that he does not buy it.
