You can use the twitter search bar for finding job vacancies. You can do this by using the hash tag. For example ‘#Jobsearch # Marketing’ this will pin point listings that you will be interested in.

9. Keep personal and professional accounts separate.

Mixing the two accounts can be dangerous. Being tagged in photos which shows you in a bad state on a night out will not look good to a potential employer. Remember to check your privacy settings on your social media accounts as employers will search for you to see what kind of person you are, so make sure they cannot see your Facebook posts if there is something on there which should not be seen by their eyes.

10. Do not spam people

Do not ask people for jobs, and especially not constantly. This will show more annoyance than positive persistence. Only talk about your current job search during conversation. If they find you suited for the job or interested they will offer you an interview themselves. Just remember to keep selling yourself as though you are editing a magazine that is all about you.
