Breech Birth

Can the ICD-9-CM 652.21breech birth be used as one of the diagnosis codes when a newborn in seen in the office for the first and second visits? The claim came back invalid code. It was a 2nd or 3rd diagnosis.

I have a fondness for all things in the Emergency Room. It is an great place to learn a wide variety of diagnosis coding. Mr. Strafford talked about some nuances of E/M coding.
