It’s common for most professionals to “wear many hats”. It is easy to become overwhelmed.
• Make sure you have clear direction from a supervisor on what your priorities should be.
• Take notes• When given a task, repeat it back to
make sure there are no misunderstandings
• If you become overwhelmed, let your supervisor know so you can figure out together what your next step should be.
• Keep in mind, everyone has a lot to do. Take it one task at a time and you’ll be fine.

#4 – Multi-taskingMultitasking in as efficient way of completing several tasks at
once. But is multitasking really beneficial? Most employers would say YES. However, if you’re going to
multitask, you need to be organized!• Keep a notebook• Make a list of tasks• Check off each task as it is completed• Recap your day to make sure nothing
was missed
• Plan ahead• Know what needs to be done the
next day so you can make a plan of execution
