Taking into account the economy and so many students are returning adults, we have to think of other means to achieve experience before graduation. Here are some practical options and things to consider as a student and employer looking to hire interns.

      • Complete an Internship Report Form and submit to Career Services ( http://www.ipfw.edu/career/students/job/internships.shtml#forms )
      • Meet with site supervisor to determine goals and projects during the internship
      • Maintain appropriate work hours and performance as agreed upon by supervisor at internship site
      • Connect with Career Services via site visit or individual appointment at least once during your internship experience
      • Complete an end-of-semester evaluation and submit to Career Services with logged work hours ( http://www.ipfw.edu/career/students/job/internships.shtml#forms )
