Facebook is a good way to keep in touch and up to date with family and friends. It is also a great way for businesses to market there brands to facebook users.

I’m still just learning to use Twitter but I know a lot of people use it a lot and get all kinds of free stuff from companies they follow. People love free stuff and it is a great way to get your company name out there!

I have a Linkedin account and plan to use it when I’ve graduated to help find leads for jobs. A lot of companies post job openings as well as promotions and departures within the company

I currently write a blog for class. Maybe I will keep it going after, if not for my self for business. Blogs are a great way to receive input from customers. It is also a great way to get information about the company and products out there.

I love to watch videos on Youtube. You can find anything and everything on there. Youtube is a great way for companies to post how-to videos on how to use their products. It’s a great alternative to the boring instruction manual.

SKYPE

I use Skype to talk to family and friends who live outside of the country. It is a great way to talk and feel like you are together. The service is free and is a great tool for companies that do international business.

What next…

I look forward to learning to use other types of social media as more are created.

I also hope to use them in my Operations Management Career.
