Clip Analysis• Music is used in the scene to build tension, the steady increase in volume when something major happens

is meant to keep the viewer on edge, the lighting remains the same throughout the whole clip, well exposed to suit the environment and the barn scene was also well lit, The actors dialogue was mainly just screaming to create the idea of fear and panic, the editing was the quick jump cuts, to symbolise panic and fast paced action, the plot was pretty convoluted and jumping from one scene to another in no time at all, however the narrative remained fairly linear through-out most of the clip. The camera constantly cuts from one scene to another to give perspective to all the characters involved in most of the scene, the constant movement of all the cameras creates tension in the action packed scenes.

• The way the males are represented are as in charge, brave and are the leading figures, for example, the man at the start tries to lead the sabre-tooth away from the girl in the digger, then pulls a ridiculous stunt and tries to zip line using his belt, which clearly shows his determination.

• The women are perceived as damsels in distress, at the end the woman has to be defended from the man with the shotgun, however the woman in the digger tries to take control, by pummelling the sabre-tooth with the vehicle, she also is the one to stop the tiger eating the guy at the end
