Tasks: Education
Most important task is to keep the professional knowledge of our members on a good level.
During 2013 more than 100 training and certification occasions were held. Totally more than 1 000 persons participated.
The topics included for example:
• ECQA certification program - Innovation Manager- SPI Manager- Scope Manager
• ITIL, COBIT and PRINCE training
• Data Privacy in IT Projects
• Finnish Testing Board Certification
• etc.

Functional Structure
TIVIA acts as the central organization for the local associations, theme associations and the special interest groups (SIG). As a member you have the possibility to belong to more than one member society.

FiSTB - Finnish Software Testing Board is Member Board of ISTQB® and it cordinates ISTQB activities in Finland. One of the biggest tasks for FiSTB is to organize ISTQB® certification exams.
ICT Leaders Finland is an association for business and information management professionals
ITKO – ICT Trainers Association is an association for every trainer/instructor in ICT branch
PCUF – The PC Users of Finland is the largest PC users association in Finland
SIY – The Finnish Internet Association aims to increase awareness of the Internet and its uses
SYTYKE – System development Association connects the Finnish systemdevelopment professionals
