1. Having just arrived in Boston, MA, I decided to go and tour two of the various apartment complexes I had previously selected ahead of time. One being in the AVA theater district, and the other being in the pier district. I enjoyed the surrounding area of both, and the one in the theater district had a more lively feel, however I enjoyed the more posh feel, persay, of the second option.

2. After touring both, I decided I prefered the one in the pier district as they are both affordable, and I enjoy the ocean view. Below is a photo.

3. After exploring the city for a few days, I have noticed there are various examples of urban sprawl in Boston, some of which being the airports surrounding it or the fact that it is overall a rather large and spread out city.

4. Some examples of smart growth in Boston that I have noticed are, for example, various parks and spaces of such within the city that encourage more human growth and

interaction and less mechanic interaction, in a sense.

5. Potential places to work in Boston in my surrounding area would likely end up being a small little bar or pub near my apartment as it is a modest beginning and would work into my schedule very well, most likely.
