Critical Path

Longest path through the network

Logical path through the network that has no float or

slack

Float and Slack

Float and Slack mean the same thing

Float comes in two forms:

Free Float - Time that an activity can be delayed

before any of the activities that are dependent on it

are delayed.

Total Float (or Plain old Float) - Time that an

activity can be delayed before the project completion

is delayed.
