The Greater Creators report is the first result of the #ProjectManchester campaign, a joint initiative between LinkedIn and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority begun in 2015 to help the Authority understand, and plan, for its skills gaps as it forecasts 110,000 new jobs in the next decade. The initiative forms part of LinkedIn’s global Economic Graph initiative to map the global economy. Data insights are based on the aggregate profile information of LinkedIn's 614,000 members within Greater Manchester, looking specifically at four key factors: workforce and skills, hiring, migration, and education.
