Magazine Analysis - Sam Smith Sam Smith is on of the most popular artist in his genre and even the world. A lot of people enjoy his music due to him singing about topics that day to day people can relate to you. For example romance problems from the song ‘Stay with Me’. The magazine advert that I will be analysing is the one from where he is promoting him being in the soundtrack artist in ‘Spectre’ in the James Bond franchise. There is a lot of interesting factors that are going in to this advert. The typography and the title our important because it related it to the James Bond franchise. The font is exactly the same as it is in the film. The use of colour scheme is very important in this magazine shot. For example the black white filter is there to bring out the text and make it obvious to the reader. The background in this magazine is just enhancing the idea that Sam is meant to be Bond, James Bond. For example the gun view pointing at him. This is seen in a lot of James film Openings.

Magazine Analysis - Sam SmithSam Smith is on of the most popular artist in his genre and even the world. A lot of people enjoy his music due to him singing about topics that day to day people can relate to you. For example ro-mance problems from the song ‘Stay with Me’. The mag-azine advert that I will be analysing is the one from where he is promoting him be-ing in the soundtrack artist in ‘Spectre’ in the James Bond franchise.

There is a lot of interesting factors that are going in to this advert. The typography and the title our important because it related it to the James Bond franchise. The font is exactly the same as it is in the film.

The use of colour scheme is very important in this maga-zine shot. For example the black white filter is there to bring out the text and make it obvious to the reader.

The background in this magazine is just enhancing the idea that Sam is meant to be Bond, James Bond. For example the gun view pointing at him. This is seen in a lot of James film Openings.

The Shadows in the background are really important, I believe this represents the dark side of the character. That all of Sam’s lyrics have deeper meanings that peo-ple think the songs do. But the simplicity of the shot makes people believe that their isn't any in depth messages hidden in the advert.
