It’s important to validate your MasterCard ATM acquiring Transactions with your Net settlement figures as advised on the NSA file. It also very important to reconcile the ATM acquiring transactions with your Core Banking transactions for MasterCard

There are several reconciliation tool in the market you can used . I recommend you used Corona 7.8 SmartStream Reconciliation Tool

However where an automated reconciliation tool is not available ,you can use your Mocrosoft excel

Downloading T464 MasterCard Downloading T464 MasterCard Transactions Transactions

Log on to MasterCard connectType in you four digit password

Type in the six digit (from your Secure ID )


Ensure that the bar in the secure ID is full before typing in the secure code.


Click on sign in


The Screen below POP UP


Click on application


Click on MasterCard Data Exchange


Click on END Point 007113


Click on Download Files


Look for T464 files in the new Tab will come up ..


Right click on the T464


Click on the save link as…..


Click on the save link as…..


Navigate location where you want to drop files


On the location and click on save


Always monitor the progress of the download as shown below

Ensure the file is complete downloaded

• Go to the Mastercard Settlement (Sheet)• Click on covert • Navigate to the location where the file you want to

convert is located


• Click on open


The converter will show the number of record imported. click OK


After about 3 min the file will be converted into excel The converter files contain Local and international

transactions Go to MASTERCARD NGN ACQUIRER (Sheet) of all

Transactions done on your ATM (OMTC)OMTC :- Our Machine There Card


Copy the files to a new Excel work sheet Name the files and Save Close the converter

Reconciling T464 with your CBAReconciling T464 with your CBA

• Bring your core Banking transactions for mastercard acquiring (CBA data) and the Converted T464 together in a reconciliation work sheet

• Ensure that the two data are aligned


Before aligning the two set of data Ensure that a data integrity test is done on your CBA data

to verify the completeness of the CBA data

Ensure that a validation test in done on the Mastercard ATM acquiring data to verify the correctness of the settlement figure


Formula for data integrity test is giving below Opening Balance + Sum of Downloaded CBA Transactions

= closing Balance


Please note the following data alignment (This relate to users using Flexcube as there core banking application )


Once you have finish re_ arranging the two data (CBA and the Mastercard ATM acquiring data)

Sort by the UNIQUE Matching criterial column. RRN Colum



Match off your transactions

Open items or orphans are transactions that did not match off . Transactions with out a corresponding pairs either on the CBA or on the MasterCard Acquiring side.


• We have two broad types of open items• CBA Orphan :- Transactions in your CBA not in

MasterCard Acquiring • MasterCard Acquiring Orphan :- Transactions in

MasterCard Acquiring not in CBA
