INSTRUCTIONS FOR USEThis talk is about SQL server for small-to-medium enterprises.
I love SQL Server because it lets me use data. That way round. I love hearing sessions that let me know what’s happening at the vanguard of SQL server. I’m not part of the vanguard. Instead, I have used SQL Server to fulfil the needs of a series of small companies.
Ah, the small business, where budget is limited, but ambition seldom is. Over the years I have been asked to make SQL Server do pretty much everything. A series of challenges I’ve often matched, sometimes exceeded and always enjoyed.
This is a warts-and-all set of case studies from the frontline of small business. They say if all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. SQL Server was my hammer and this is what I did with it.
(PS Whilst I use the word enterprise in the strapline, I am a Standard Edition kind of guy!)
