There is nothing much else which provides us any clues to the setting. We also further into the clip hear the sound of many footsteps all moving together, I believe that this is a battle and it is the sound of both oppositions charging into battle. The footsteps would’ve been made using either Foley artistry or they could have been recorded in a studio as they are very high quality and there are no ambient noises in the background. The sounds of the charging army could’ve been made using Foley artistry and layering a lot of footsteps together or it could’ve been made using field recording. Mood There is a very intense music which continuously get louder and louder as the cut sequence continues. Also the two characters talking In this cut sequence both have a anger in their voices, finally the sound of the swords colliding and the grunts at the end tell us that this game must have fighting in it. The music would’ve been created using an electrical instrument into a MIDI controller as the sound is not acoustic and more than likely wouldn’t have been made using an acoustic orchestra. Game genre I Think that this game is a role playing game as the characters in this are from the lore of the lord of the rings. Also the game directly relates to the series. We can hear the voice of Gollum and Sauron in the background. The voices we hear in the background would’ve been recorded in a studio and then edited, possibly using a MIDI soundboard as they sound faded and far away yet they still are loud. Narrative The characters in this game are discussing who one of them as one of them is a wraith (a ghost) and the other is a man. The wraith does not know of his original name and the two characters both sound angry as we can hear it in their voices. The voices of the characters would definitely have been recorded in a studio environment as they are clear and would’ve been done by voice actors.
