Using DPS and TXDOT databases, we cananalyze large data sets in order to iden?fypossible palerns. This example highlights howtherateofseriousinjurycrashesinvolvingDWIismuchhigheronholidayweekends.

Iden?fying palerns like the above example can belerassist both state and local law enforcement to developstrategiestocombattrafficissues.
