Ethnographic Research Observations
• I noticed that my cousin who is in 6th grade owns an iPhone, I didn’t own an iPhone until I was 16. (This shows that kids are getting addictions to social media at younger ages.)
• All of the adults that I asked don’t know how to navigate Twitter or Instagram, just Facebook
• Most of the Facebook population now consists of adults, not as many kids use Facebook as often anymore
Jamie Cohen Professor Klinkowstein
• I noticed that out of all the social media apps, kids/young adults used Twitter the most
• I noticed that adults checked their Facebooks more than the kids did
• They all checked their updates the most when they were at home as opposed to being at another place
