Clinical CaseDO Cavity on Lower Second Premolar

1 DO on lower second premolar.

2 V3 Tab-Matrix and medium Wave-Wedge in position. Note that the tab has been folded over on to the marginal ridge of the first molar. Applying finger pressure to the tab while placing the wedge prevents the movement of the matrix.

3 V3 Ring in position. Note how the matrix is wrapped around the tooth.

4 Side view showing how the V-shaped tines leave room for the wedge. Also note that the V3 Ring has been pushed firmly down to maximize its stability.

5 Completion of the composite placement.

6 Immediately after matrix removal. Note the lack of flash.

7 Finished restoration with rubber dam in place.
