The first step in the creation was the choice of images. I chose these two as it made the piece feel interactive but not too busy. I knew I would be able to wrap the text around the images to still have plenty of space left over for the columns.

Before I began adding the text, I chose where I would place my pull quotes. I did this first as it would make the text wrapping easier.

Now I added my text from my premade interview. The text wrapping took a few attempts to get right as I had never done something like this before.

Next I added the pull quotes in the space allocated. I tried many different colour options for both the text and the boxes.

This is my final piece, I settle on the white text and red boxes for the pull quotes as it fits my magazine colour scheme, I was reluctant at first to use this as the colours seemed to clash however they do stand out from the background to grab the readers attention.
