ACTIVE LISTENING:

In order to effectively help the client, you must listen to everything they have to say. If you do a design that was not desired by the client, your job will not be done correctly.

To understand what the client wants, you must be able to think clearly and truly get the feel for what they want. In order to do this critical thinking is needed.

WORKING IN TEAMS

In most cases, you will be working with other people while designing. Everyone has different opinions, so this is why working in teams is important.

You must be able to communicate with your co-workers about different design options that everyone has to offer.

Shadowing Experience

My Fed-ex shadowing experience at Dowling college opened my eyes to the world. It showed me that we all need each other in this world. During the experience, we did many activities that included team work. From this, I have realized that working together with other people is very important for a successful life, and a sucessful career.
