MINISTRY OF BUSINESS & TRADE BROCHURE

yeah,we did this!

Challenge

The Ministry of Business and Trade appointed grow to design a brochure to act as a tool to promote inward investment in Qatar. The brochure targets foreign investors who wish to set up business in Qatar and will be made available at Qatar’s embassies abroad and also distributed at International trade exhibitions.

Strategy

grow’s creative strategy was to design an informative book that represents Qatar’s conversation with the world. In design terms the big Idea was a series of speech bubbles as the central graphic that highlighted key messages and quotes from well-known personalities. The bubbles also doubled-up as effective frames for the various images.

ResultsConsidering Qatar’s growing importance as a business destination the brochure was given a professional, contemporary design. The balance between photos and text encourages the reader to navigate through each section with ease. Altogether a presentation that acts as Qatar’s brand ambassador.

tell me a storyCan you picture your brand? The right picture is truly worth a thousand words. It contributes in no small measure to your brand equity. It can tell your story, showcase your products, and interest or excite your audience. A good picture or illustration communicates more quickly and leaves a longer-lasting impression than words alone.

Customers engage and interact with your brand better through imagesDeveloping the right corporate identity, for example, is more than just creating a new logo design or refreshing an old one. The research, positioning and images, all contribute to forming and communicatingthe unique DNA or brand essence and image of your company.

Think about it, when a publication is doing an article on your business, they will want to shoot photographs. Pictures speak louder than words.

Images create a visual and emotional bond with your brandThe visuals you use will create a perception of your company in the minds of the reader. Make sure to inspire the desired response.

To know how best to present your company, you fi rst have to know who you are and where you want to go. What is your brand personality? Is your business conservative or contemporary? If you have defi ned your brand and have images to support it, it’s easier to present to the outside world. If you’re easy to understand, you’re easy to trust and easy to do business with.

In reality brand imagery is a crystalization of all experiences a person has ever had in conjunction with a brand. The experiences include memorable stories from childhood, tastes (like grandma’s cooking), special rituals, familiar sounds, and any other way the product consciously or unconsciously impacts our senses and memories.

Images conjure cultural, social, historical and religious emotionsTo assess brand imagery is to unearth these impressions and interpret and integrate them in terms of a unified whole. Get the picture?
