• HTML character entity references are escape sequences that can be used to refer to characters not in a page’s character set. This page contains charts of all of the character entity references defined in HTML. If your browser supports print stylesheets then the printed version of this page will contain only the charts, for use as a ‘cheat sheet’.

Only printable characters are displayed as control characters (0-31) shouldn't be present in HTML pages since they have no visual representations
