It is made from antique barn timber, white oak, and reclaimed teak veneer. The base is made of hardwood beech finished off in a high gloss white enamel complimented with the functional accent of the solid walnut cubby impossibly extended in the opposite direction, giving the piece a sense of weightlessness. The front edge of the walnut cubby (left shown) is recessed just enough to not disrupt the continuation of the strong aesthetic line created from the base.
