We need to reflect on the Portal the dynamism

with which the cultural world moves today.

Is a billboard that pretends to guide users in the search

of information in accordance with

cultural manifestations. At the same time, it allows to

know the most popular events.

We propose a tool that allow to manage the information

about cultural activities in Havana, Cuba

Cultural event that meets obligatory attributes (title, place, date and hour)

and optional attributes (description, price…). Each event has, besides,

votes and mystic values.

Users action on the event that

increase in one unit the numerical

value of the vote. Each user can

add only one vote, it guarantees

the existence of the mystic.

It express the current popularity of an event.

It increases with each vote, and decreases

during the time in which the event is not being

voted.

The big volume of information that appears at

first sight, tends to disorientate the users.

When an event gets an “x” mystic value,

then it reaches to what we call the

popularity threshold, then that event goes to

the “The most popular” section.

On hand

It contains the cultural information for

the next 15 days.

The information is organized by three

criteria: in a first place, the events that

have more mystic; then, the events that

have more votes; and finally, if they do

not have any of these two atributes, then

they are organized by the hour of

ocurrence.
