A Bit ‘Bout Me Meghan is a soon to be graduate of Bryant University where she studied
international marketing. During her time there, she refined her talents through a variety of challenging projects, gaining leadership, analytical, and organizational skills along the way. She continued to learn outside the classroom in two fantastic internships with the Rockport Company and Wolverine World Wide, where she worked as the global marketing
and public relations intern and product intern. It was through these positions that she discovered her passion for the footwear industry.
When she’s not being studious, you can find her running, building her dream closet on pinterest, and instagraming pictures of her adorable
pug pup. She plans to further pursue her dream of building a career in the footwear industry as she sets out into the “real world” upon
graduation.

Background
During my time as the product intern at Stride Rite, I worked on the development of a new girls brand. The brand was geared towards pre-tween girls who are not afraid to express their unique style through their shoes.
I researched this age group in addition to footwear industry trends, creating boards to help inspire the
design team. This portfolio consists of a trend guide for 2013 into 2014, style profiles of the target consumer, and an inspiration board for both boots and uniform
shoes. Enjoy!
