preparation Of lessons and resources are mostly effective and engaging. It is important however' that he does not always

rely on technology as this can sometimes let you down. Displaying diversity in lessons is also an effective tool for classroom

engagement and management , something Gilbert has acknowledged and is working towards. He has developed and

maintained a great rapport with both junior and senior classes.I would encourage Gilbert to continue to explore and develop his own variety of strategies to practically maintain and

manage Challenging behaviours, particularly when teaching junior, challenging and larger classes

Gilbert has maintained a high standard of professional behaviour both in and out of the classroom and has demonstrated an

ability to put into practice what he has learned through formal and informal professional discussions, along with displaying

positive and critical self reflection on his classroom practice.

It has been a pleasure having Gilbert as part of the English Faculty and I am confident that through continued study and

professional learning he will develop into a successful and valued member of the teaching service. I wish him well in his
