Every bottle of Slow & Low is made by teamsters local 500 in Philadelphia in our family-owned distillery "The drink of choice for dock workers, railroad men, jazz viruosos, and coun-try music legends. Rock and Rye is as American as apple pie."

Great Outdoors

Best Made American Felling Axe Best Made produces outdoor gear with a commitment to craftsmanship and quality. Their axes have become icons, a call to return to the outdoors and to use our hands. The American Felling Axe has a 4 lb Daytona pattern head, drop forged in the USA from 5160 alloy steel hardened to a Rockwell hardness of 54-46 HRC. The handle is straight-grain, premium hickory from Appalachia. Each blade is protected by a bridle leather blade guard, packed in wood wool in a handmade wooden crate. Also ideal for scaring the shit out of home invaders.

Artisan Painted Paddle Sanborn is a paddle maker out of northern Minnesota. These paddles are hand painted, elegant and traditional, crafted from a laminated combination of western red cedar, aspen, and black walnut. 58” x 5”x 26” blade.

Danny Hess is one of the world’s premiere wooden surfboard shapers. Dedicated to sustainable design, Danny builds a frame of poplar and other reclaimed wood that can last multiple years over a traditional surfboard. This unique approach using wood rails and molds also provides more flex and responsiveness while riding. Slow & Low features a Snaggle Paw at 5’11” with a squarish tail & A Balboa with a concave tail also at 5’11”. Comes with a pair of Futures SA4 fins or Rainbow Fin Company R5 fins. Each board is crafted by hand in Danny’s San Francisco workshop and signed by Danny.

Ryan Lovelace is a surfboard shaper out of Santa Barbara, creating custom boards by hand. He brings a DIY approach to shaping, fusing modern technology and function with vintage design and spirit. Slow and Low managed to snap up two boards before they quickly sold out - including a 5’10” Warparty, slightly sharper and sleeker in blue & a 5’6” T Rev, thick and fat and fun in red. Comes with a quad set of Trueames Tyler Warren fins, a 4.5” pair and a 3.5” pair. Each board is signed by Ryan.
