1. Story board - Focus on your story, audience and topic.

2. Collect content - Combine photos, videos, audio files, web links and maps.

3. Build your maps - Build your maps using ArcGIS Online (can use the free trial).

4. Put it all together - Configure your storytelling app, add your content and maps.

5. Refine your story - Check through your story; get your friends to check it.

6. Publish your story - Start sharing, embed it on your website, and more importantly - enter it into the competition for a chance to win!
