performance like using accents and staccatos in the correct places. This piece is heavily relying on the dynamics of the piece to create the correct texture and

Staccato and dynamics in

the piece.

I used staccato in the piece as it’s originated from Russia so it’s quite a

marching song. Making the notes quick and snappy

create this feel.

Working in an ensemble

(improved aurals)

We have had successful rehearsals were we are able to communicate within a band and know what we are playing in a band and when to come in.

My solo and ensemble went well and I was able to work in an ensemble and alone for both pieces to a distinction standard.

module and heavily enjoyed working as a solo and in a group.
