  21. 21. Onboarding Introduce the products personality and set the scene for the app. Use a combination of visuals and animation to make it memorable. Explain how to use the app through a visual story, simplifying the learning curve of your product.
  22. 22. Empty states Great opportunity to create engagement by delighting, educating, and driving an action. Adding visuals and animation will make it a pleasant suprise.
  23. 23. Make data sexy Turning potentially boring data into an engaging visualisation will add delight to your product. Hints of animation and interaction will encourage exploration.
  24. 24. Transitions Smooth transitions between screens make the experience feel more natural. Give an understanding of what appeared from where, making it easy for them to navigate back.
  25. 25. Micro-interactions Communicate status and provide feedback Enhance the sense of direct manipulation Help people visualize the results of their actions
  26. 26. Animation Captivating animations enhance the experience, create meaning, and make the product more enjoyable to use.
  27. 27. Loaders Turn a normally painful feature into a positive. Distract them from the fact they are waiting. Keep the user enlightened about what is happening.
  28. 28. Companion Give helpful hints and guide the user through your app. Act as a helping hand to inform on new features and pleasantly appear when not expected.
  29. 29. Microcopy A short sentance can provide a helpful instruction to inform and guide. When used with the right tone of voice can break down the mechanical barrier and create a human touch.
  30. 30. Get personal Create an emotional connection with the user to create a positive relationship with your product. Use their name or any data you have to make it feel more personalised. Avoid the creep factor.
  31. 31. Crack a smile Use humour and surprise to provoke a positive response to your product. Memorable products will help you stand out from the crowd.
  32. 32. Surprises Unexpected surprises are the memorable moments which will create positive feelings towards your product. Give the user something they will remember your product by.
  33. 33. Simplify the experience Keep the flow of your app as simple and straightforward as possible, this will reduce friction as its being used. Crowding a screen with unecessary content with detract from the overall experience.
  34. 34. Make it beautiful A well crafted user interface will have a huge impact on the percieved value of the product. Well thought out designs will make the product easier to understand and use.
