These two intense colours,Bouncing off each other, 6. Makes me Grab the sky And - mix it with orange earth 7. I start thinking about the rhythm of the sandhills, Waves of heat, Patterns of wind blown sand And Start laying down the sky On the orange sand And Lines appear 8. Until the sun blazes on the far horizon Igniting the acacias In molten red, orange and gold 9. Synchronicity, fate, coincidence, invisible world of interrelated connections, Whatever Here I sit, on a rocky outcrop and Three kangaroos came bouncing along. As I track their graceful arcing leaps Springing from the earth Falling from the blue As I follow them with my eye. The earth mixes with the sky Until the whole land bounces 10. Now how did that happen? The creative process is just so curious. As I drove the long miles out to Central Australia I thought It would be Sand and rock and dry vegetation All baking in the heat and completely -dead. Not so, There is a primal energy that pumps day and night It's like the very rocks are alive. By day every living thing is covered by an immense vault of blue. And by night a million million stars.
