Who We Are

CharloKe Van der Haer Richardson is an InternaBonal Fashion Designer, Image Consultant and Founder of Van der Haer Ltd., U.K. CharloKe frequently travels between Dubai and England to consult for a diverse clientele both private and corporate. AUer studying fashion at the world renowned Central Saint Mar/ns , CharloKe received the seal of approval from H.R.H Prince Charles, Princes Trust Founda/on, in 2008 for her bespoke Fashion Design and Image ConsulBng business startup. With over 10 years training and experience in the fashion industry, working for well known BriBsh brands such as Topshop, Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen and as CreaBve Design Director for some of the U.A.E’s prominent couture fashion houses prior to launching VDH Dubai branch. CharloKe’s designs and styling have been featured locally and InternaBonally on Dubai One TV, MTV Europe, and published in The Na/onal’s M Magazine, Gulf News, the UK’s Daily star and Singapore Times to name but a few. Recently, her bespoke design and event styling services were commissioned by Movida, O.S.N Ya! Halla TV and Lexus , U.A.E.

Who We Are Helen Boden Colebourn; Following an Honours degree in Clothing Engineering at UMIST, Helen Boden Colebourn spent fiUeen years working for both suppliers and retailers D Williams Group, Tesco, Matalan Mothercare, Bhs, Burtons Miss Selfridge, Boots, Woolworths, Li4lewoods Group Disney Store, Primark, Debenhams and various inhouse labels within the fields of Quality Control, Garment and Fabric Technology, Sourcing and Ethical Audi/ng. During this Bme she also completed her Masters in Tex/les. She has travelled extensively in the Far East and Middle East as well as in Europe during her career and has a great deal of experience dealing with offshore producBon. In 2008 Helen completed a postgraduate teaching qualifica/on which she uses to pass on her knowledge and experience to a new generaBon, it was around this Bme that Helen became part of Van der Haer and has managed the UK based part of the operaBon ever since.
