Pre-installed container vents

These are passive vents that are triple-screened to prevent insects from hitching a ride in your container. They also allow for pressure changes when the weather changes quickly.

Louvered ventsThese can be added into the container when you need more air flow. We recommend putting two of them in the container – one on either side of the container and put them on opposite ends of the container to encourage as much air flow as possible. They have a screen and fixed louvers.

Turbine vents

If you really have moisture problems, consider a turbine vent. Moist air moves up making the vent turn and pull more moisture up and out of your container. They can also allow moisture back into your container when it rains heavily, or during heavy snow melts, which makes them a double-edged sword.

HVAC UnitsIf you are planning on spending more time in your container, you may want to consider a air conditioner/heat unit. A cage around the unit is a good way to keep someone from taking the unit off for access to the container.

Bard UnitsFor projects with heartier temperature control needs, a Bard unit can offer a stronger heat and AC option. Since these are larger units, they generally need a support structure to hold them in place.
