Over the last several months, we have all witnessed the impact of Covid-19 in Indiadevastating families and communities.
When the second COVID-19 surge hit India in late April, the country went intolockdown and schools that had barely reopened after a year, shuttered again.
During this period, Pratham stepped up to provide urgent relief by distributing much needed oxygen concentrators across 24 Indian states, and providing 20,000+ communities with the knowledge and means to cope with the pandemic. We are now focusing on getting children ready for school after an 20-month hiatus, and to stem the steep learning loss that has occurred. As communities and schools reopen, Pratham will be needed more than ever to rekindle education and learning.
Help us ensure that the pandemic does not rob India's children of their right to an education.
