Overview

Apple Pay provides an easy and secure way to make payments in iOS apps, watchOS apps, and websites on Safari. Nonprofits can accept donations within their apps and websites with Apple Pay. By using Face ID, Touch ID, or double-clicking Apple Watch, users can quickly and securely provide their payment, shipping, and contact information to check out. Customers love the simplicity of Apple Pay, and you’ll love the increased conversion rates and new user adoption that come with it.

Purchase flow

1. When the user access the cart, Apple pay will be available on the upper part of the page along with the express payment options2. The shopper will click on the on the button





3. A browser popup will open that will contain the shopper details. Simultaneously a request will be sent to the registered mobile device iPhone, iPad or iWatch

4. The user needs to confirm the transaction





5. Once the order is confirmed by the shopper, the cart will automatically fill in the billing and delivery information and the payment details and it will proceed to processing the payment automatically. Once the order is successfully placed the shopper will be redirected to the thank you page.

Apple Pay is available for all 2Checkout accounts on the Avangate Monetization Platform and it is supported by DESIGN_TYPE=2 Express Checkout payment flows.

There are no geolocation limitations in place to show the button in the 2Checkout cart, but Apple Pay is currently available in the following countries & territories:
