BRICKFORM Sierra Seamless Skins allow texture to be imprinted over large areas without bond lines, which gives the installer more creative control. The textured surface can then be scored or cut to impart pattern lines or simply left as a large textured surface according to design requirements. Sierra Seamless Texture Skins are designed to be quick and easy to use. They can be used with BRICKFORM Antique Release, BRICKFORM Color Hardener, and BRICKFORM Blush-Tone Acid Stain to achieve an infinite variety of coloring effects that will complement each individual’s taste.

With decorative concrete, you can start with new concrete or apply an overlay over an existing concrete surface. Once you have decided on the concrete surface for texturing and coloring, you will go through a sequence of design considerations that result in the fi nished look and feel. These steps are:

Deciding on a suitable textureTextures can be stone, slate, brick, tile or wood in a wide variety of fi nishes that mimic natural materials. You can choose one texture to fi t your design theme, or mix and match for contrast and interest. Often the use will make the decision for you. For example, pick a smooth texture for a driveway for durability, but a slightly rough or porous surface for a pool deck. This catalog illustrates the broad range of texture choices that BRICKFORM offers.

Choosing a compatible patternBRICKFORM texture skins and mats are designed to offer you a huge array of patterns. Stamping tools are meticulously crafted to represent stone patterns of different sizes and shapes. Which pattern is right for you? Consider these factors: Do you want hard edges or curves? Is the project designed to look like man-made tile, or a natural pathway? How big is the area to be decorated? Is it an interior or exterior surface? Larger grouted patterns on a big area tend to appeal to the eye. Small patterns as a rule seem more suitable to interiors, a garden path or intimate patio. Patterns can give a straight geometric look, or a wavy undulating look that contributes a very serene feel to an outdoor area.

Selecting colors that fi t in the surroundingsThe color palette available with BRICKFORM coloring materials will enchance any design setting. Several different materials can be used to achieve a fi nal color effect. The most popular tools for color control and durability are BRICKFORM Color Hardener and Antique Release. With these products, it is possible to achieve subtle, natural-looking colors. With tight budget considerations, BRICKFORM Integral Color paired with Antique Release is an economical combination. Other choices for new and existing surfaces are Blush Tone Acid Stain, colored dyes such as Dye-N-Seal, and even Cem-Coat: a tough cement based latex coating. Remember to always prepare a mock-up sample so that you can anticipate what the fi nal result will be.

Finding a sealer that enhances and protects Concrete sealers can beautify and protect, just like varnish on wood. Sealers protect a surface from sun and water damage, oil stains, dirt, tire marks, and even chewing gum. Sealers can impart a glossy look or fl at look. They can deepen and enrich colors. Sealers can even be given color tones. BRICKFORM offers extra durable solvent-based sealers, such as glossy Gem-Seal, or natural-looking Safety-Seal, which contains a slip-resistant additive for pool decks. Water-based environmentally friendly sealers are also available.

The BRICKFORM enCOUNTER Edge Forms provide a natural stone facing.enCOUNTER is easy to mix on site for either cast-in-place or pre-cast counters. It is available in 50-pound bags of white or gray mix that produce 3 square feet at 1.5” thickness, or 2.3 square feet at 2” thickness.
