Wilsonart International was founded in 1956 in Texas, USA, by Ralph Wilson, Sr., a retired laminate industry executive. There were 12 laminate companies operating in the American market, and Wilson had no intention of trying to compete with them. He simply wanted a hobby. Throughout the 1960s, however, Wilson’s “hobby” grew into a fully fledged business, surging ahead of its competitors with

the winning formula of a dedicated local workforce, high-quality products, and good, old-fashioned commitment to customer service.

If harsh acids, bases and solvents are a problem for your surfaces, Wilsonart Chemsurf chemical resistant laminates are the answer. Specifically designed for highly corrosive environments, Chemsurf provides exceptional chemical resistance without compromising on style. Lighter and less expensive than slate, stainless steel or epoxy, Chemsurf is also ideal for applications where harsh cleaning agents are in use and may damage other decorative surfaces.
