Pronouns I and me
The Pronouns I and me take the place of the writer’s name. I is the subject of a sentence and it
comes before the verb. Me comes after the verb.
Examples: I have a great idea. Grandpa took me to the ball game.

We will learn about the state of Alabama. We will learn about the state flag and symbols. We
will learn the capital.
Our state flag is white with a red St. Andrew’s cross. The state bird is the yellowhammer. The
state flower is the camellia. The capital is Montgomery.

passage- A Bad Rash. Introduce new sounds- w and wh.
2. Video- Martin April 28- Review /w/ and /wh/. Word reading practice- w and wh.
Highlight w and wh in the words and practice sounding out the words and sentences
until you can read them fluently.
3. Video- Martin April 29-Review w and wh sounds, and read the word lists. Use the video
to work on the dictation page. If you don’t have access to the video, use the words and
sentence below to call out for your students to write.
