The Pronouns I and me take the place of the writer’s name. I is the subject of a sentence and it

comes before the verb. Me comes after the verb.

will learn the capital.

Our state flag is white with a red St. Andrew’s cross. The state bird is the yellowhammer. The

state flower is the camellia. The capital is Montgomery.
