Gigs on Wheels is a Bangalorebased six piece experimentalband. Throughout its musicaljourney, Gigs on Wheels hasperformed 100+ gigs at venuesand corporate events in andaround the Bangalore, Goa,Chennai and Kerala. Thesegigs include performancesthat headlined in college fests,concerts, weddings and liveshows. The musical talent ofthe band does not limit itself,and therefore, undertakesevents in diverse genres likethe Blues, Pop, Rock, Indie andalso Regional music. A keyfeature of the Gigs on Wheelsthat has helped cement itsname among the crowdremains through its ability todeliver power packedperformance, lively music,upbeat set list and signaturetwists on established hits thatnever fails to surprise theaudience and gets everyonearound grooving along.

RAHUL JOSEPH (RJ) - LEAD /MANAGER

Singing embraced Rahul as a child at the ageof 6 when he used to accompany his Dad tothe church choir and also joining in thechorus for carols. He never missed anopportunity to sing along with bands such asthe Carpenters and ABBA. Rahul was soonable to mature in his interest for music whenhe undertook a few stints in school bands.These experiences helped him understandthe techniques of harmonising throughchoral arrangements. From then on, hestarted relating to music with his soul andtook it upon himself to master the craft.Rahul believes in giving back his love formusic to the audience through theperformances at Gigs on Wheels.


ARUN PAUL - DRUMS

Drumming has always been Arun’s escapefrom reality since the age of 6. Havingstarted drumming in his church, Arun wasmostly inspired by Gospel music. Heextended his musical influence by avidlyfollowing bands such as the Backstreet Boysand Westlife. This escalated his passiontowards rock music. On meeting the rightpeople, Arun was able to share his love formusic through his performances in the band.Arun aslo is a grade pianist and a composer.


FEBIN - GUITARS / HARMONY

Febin took up music after witnessing virtuosoguitarists play iconic riffs and solos. It ignitedhis wish to play the six-stringed instrumentone day. At the age of 13, Febin picked up inthe domain and was slowly introduced todifferent genres by using different types ofguitars. This influenced him to progress froma mere air guitarist to a seasoned guitaristwho knows his line of music inside out. Febinis inspired by Virtuoso guitarists like JohnPetrucci, Joe Satriani, Frank Gambale, GuthrieGovan, Andy James, B. B. King, Steve Vai anda lot more. Among the bands lie Chon,Polyphia, Dream Theater, Extreme, Liquidtension experiment, Racer X, Symphony X andother bands.


GEORGE - GUITARS

Music has been a thing of second habitwhere, at one point of time it was all Georgecould think about. George loves picking upthe guitar as it gives him a different kind ofvibe that only those true to the instrument canexperience. From playing in his bedroom tochurch services and others venues it has beena mesmerizing journey. It took a variety ofartists like Delirious, Dream Theater, JohnMayer, Toto, Snarky Puppy, to name a few,which made him stick on to the instrument asa cosmic emotion. George also contributes bycomposing for the band.


JOSHUA - BASS GUITAR

After being constantly exposed to talentedmusicians at his local church, Joshua beganlearning music at the age of 8 with a dreamof being a musician himself. At first, Joshualearnt from those around him, but graduallystarted to learn on his own. It was just threeyears ago when he picked up the art ofplaying the bass guitar. His constantsources of inspiration are Queen, Bon Jovi,Toto, Jojo Mayer Eric, Nathan East and DirtyLoops among many.


SESSIONS ARTISTES ASHWANTH - SAXOPHONE

Ashwanth has been playing music since thelast 16 years. He used to play the piano anddid his 5 grades from London School of Music(Trinity). . He has been playing the instrumentsince 5 years now. Ashwanth has the talent ofbeing inventive with his music through hisconstant following of different genres withClassic Rock being his passion.

KENNETH - KEYBOARD Kenny is a talented and a versatilekeyboardist. He also sessions for Glorious choir, Masala Coffee band among many otherprojects. Kenny adds life to the sound of Gigs onWheels and gives it an embellished feel.


GIGS ON WHEELS - UNPLUGGED

The band also performs unplugged and acoustic sessions. Asimple three piece line-up on strings, vocals and cajone ,accompanied with Sax / Violin is just the combination for yourexclusive private events. Rest assured that we will serenadeyou into a soulful indulgence.
